Carca is a digitally fabricated and hand finished piece in CARB certified Birchwood, and comes in a set of 3 modules. These modules have the ability to expand vertically up to six modules and probably infinitely when placed horizontally. The book shelf is a stable origami inspired structure which equally distributes the weight of the shelf making it stable right from the base. The shelf comes in flat packed and can be assembled in just minutes, without any additional hardware or tools. The design is inspired by principles of modularity which makes it versatile both aesthetically and structurally.
