At Kaalzua, we stand behind the quality, craftsmanship, and durability of our furniture. This Warranty Policy outlines the coverage, limitations, and conditions applicable to all Kaalzua products.
1. Warranty Coverage Overview
Kaalzua provides a limited warranty of 5 (five) years on all furniture products, starting from the date of delivery.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects only, subject to the terms and exclusions mentioned below.
2. Manufacturing Defect Warranty (5 Years)
- Any manufacturing defect that arises during the warranty period will be:
- Repaired, or
- Reworked, or
- Replaced (partially or fully),
at Kaalzua’s discretion.
- Manufacturing defects include issues related to:
- Structural integrity
- Joinery failure
- Material defects
- Faulty workmanship
No refunds are applicable under warranty claims.
3. Termite Resistance Warranty (5 Years)
- Kaalzua provides a 5-year termite resistance warranty on all furniture products.
- This covers termite-related damage caused due to:
- Internal material failure, or
- Manufacturing-related vulnerability
- The warranty does not cover:
- Termite infestation due to environmental conditions
- Poor site maintenance
- Existing termite presence at the customer’s location
4. Water Resistance Warranty
- Kaalzua provides water resistance warranty as per material specifications used in the product.
- This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing-related failure of water-resistant coatings or boards
- The warranty does not cover:
- Prolonged water exposure
- Standing water
- Water seepage from walls, floors, or plumbing issues
- Damage caused due to flooding or damp environments
5. Paint & Finish Warranty (1 Year)
- Kaalzua provides a 1-year warranty on paint and finish.
- Coverage includes:
- Excessive or abnormal fading within 1 year under normal indoor usage
- Paint warranty does not cover:
- Transit-related paint damage
- Minor shade variations
- Hairline scratches
- Wear and tear due to regular usage
- Damage caused by cleaning chemicals, abrasives, or misuse
Minor scratches, dents, and surface marks are considered normal wear and tear and are not covered under warranty.
6. What Is NOT Covered Under Warranty
The warranty does not cover the following:
- Normal wear and tear over time
- Minor scratches, dents, or surface marks
- Color variation due to natural ageing or sunlight exposure
- Damage due to:
- Improper handling
- Incorrect installation
- Third-party installation or modification
- Misuse or negligence
- Environmental damage caused by:
- Excess humidity
- Heat exposure
- Flooding or water stagnation
- Damage caused during relocation or shifting of furniture
- Consumable items such as:
- Hinges, sliders, soft-close channels (unless structurally defective)
7. Warranty Claim Process
To raise a warranty claim, customers must:
- Contact Kaalzua within the warranty period
- Share:
- Clear photographs
- Videos of the affected area
- Proof of purchase
- Allow Kaalzua’s technical team to assess the issue
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval by Kaalzua.
8. Repair Location & Cost Responsibility
- Within Delhi NCR:
- Kaalzua will arrange inspection and repair where feasible
- Outside Delhi NCR:
- Logistics, travel, or on-site service costs may apply
- Charges (if any) will be communicated prior to execution
9. Post-Warranty Service
- Issues arising after the warranty period:
- Will be serviced at an additional cost
- Availability of parts and feasibility will be evaluated on a case-to-case basis
10. Final Authority
- All decisions regarding:
- Warranty applicability
- Repair or replacement method
- Extent of coverage
lie solely with Kaalzua.
- Kaalzua’s decision shall be final and binding.
