RETURNS & REFUNDS

At Kaalzua, all products are thoughtfully designed and manufactured with a strong focus on craftsmanship and durability. Most of our products are made-to-order or produced in limited batches. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order, as it applies to all purchases made through Kaalzua’s website, official payment gateways, bank transfers, or any authorised payment channel.

 

1. Order Confirmation & Cancellation

  • Once an order is placed with Kaalzua, it cannot be cancelled, modified, or retracted.
  • Any advance payment, partial payment, or full payment made towards an order is non-refundable.
  • Payments made via:
    • Online payment gateways
    • Bank transfers / online banking
    • UPI or QR payments
    • Any other official Kaalzua payment channel
      are final and binding.

 

2. Strict No Refund Policy

  • Kaalzua does not offer refunds under any circumstances.
  • This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Change of mind after placing an order
    • Delays caused due to logistics or external factors
    • Non-requirement of the product
    • Partial or full advance payments

No amount paid to Kaalzua shall be refunded or adjusted against any other service, product, or future order.

 

3. Product-Specific Use of Payment

  • All payments made are strictly linked to the specific product ordered.
  • The paid amount cannot be transferred or reused for a different product.
  • On a case-to-case basis, and only before dispatch, Kaalzua may evaluate whether:
    • The paid amount can be reworked into another product
  • Such approval:
    • Is entirely at Kaalzua’s discretion
    • Must be confirmed in writing
    • Is not guaranteed

 

4. No Return Policy

  • Kaalzua does not accept product returns.
  • Once a product is sold, delivered, or installed:
    • No return requests will be entertained
    • Buy-back or exchange is not permitted
  • Only repair or replacement, as per this policy, may be offered.

 

5. Manufacturing Defects & Quality Issues

a) Reporting a Defect

  • Any manufacturing defect must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Customers must share:
    • Clear photographs
    • Unedited videos
    • Close-up images of the affected areas

Failure to report within the stipulated time may lead to rejection of the claim.

 

b) Resolution Process

  • All defect claims will be assessed by Kaalzua’s quality control team.
  • If confirmed as a manufacturing defect, Kaalzua will:
    • Repair the product, or
    • Replace the defective part, or
    • Rework the product where technically feasible

Refunds will not be issued in any defect-related scenario.

 

6. Logistics Responsibility (Delhi NCR vs Outside Delhi NCR)

a) Customers Within Delhi NCR

  • For customers located within Delhi NCR:
    • Kaalzua will arrange pickup of the defective product
    • Transportation to and from the factory will be borne by Kaalzua
    • Repair or replacement will be carried out at Kaalzua’s facility

 

b) Customers Outside Delhi NCR (Pan-India Orders)

  • For customers located outside Delhi NCR:
    • The product must be shipped back to Kaalzua’s warehouse at the customer’s cost
  • After repair or replacement:
    • The product will be dispatched back to the customer
    • Outbound shipping costs will be borne by the customer, especially for online orders

 

7. Online Orders & Transit Damage

  • For online deliveries:
    • Customers must inspect the product at the time of delivery
    • Any transit damage must be reported immediately with photos/videos
  • Damage caused due to:
    • Mishandling after delivery
    • Installation by third-party carpenters or technicians
    • Improper use or negligence
      will not be covered under replacement or repair.

 

8. Warranty Coverage

  • Manufacturing defects identified within the warranty period will be:
    • Repaired or rectified by Kaalzua
  • Warranty does not cover:
    • Normal wear and tear
    • Natural variations in wood grain, texture, or colour
    • Finish ageing over time
    • Damage due to moisture, heat, termites, or improper maintenance

 

9. Post-Warranty Repairs

  • Any defect or issue arising after the warranty period:
    • Will be addressed at an additional cost
  • For locations outside Delhi NCR:
    • Travel, logistics, or on-site repair charges may apply
    • These costs will be communicated and approved before execution

 

10. Custom, Made-to-Order & Handcrafted Products

  • Kaalzua products are handcrafted and/or custom-manufactured.
  • Minor variations in:
    • Wood grains
    • Finish tones
    • Handcrafted detailing
      are natural characteristics and not considered defects.

 

11. Force Majeure

Kaalzua shall not be held liable for delays or inability to service repairs due to events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural calamities
  • Transportation strikes
  • Government restrictions
  • Supply chain disruptions

 

12. Final Authority

  • All decisions regarding defect evaluation, repair, or replacement lie solely with Kaalzua.
  • Kaalzua’s decision shall be final and binding in all such matters.
